Auckland, 2 December 2019:  Pead – New Zealand’s largest independent PR and communications agency – has appointed three new staff members to its integrated communications division.

Devin Monajem joins as Head of Digital Engagement, Duncan Killick has been promoted to Content & Partnerships Manager and Apela Bell has been hired as Social Content Producer.

Monajem brings unique international insights to Pead’s digital and social media offering, bringing almost a decade’s worth of experience to the role.  Monajem is passionate about collaborating across multiple disciplines to drive business success, and his passion centres on bringing digital campaigns to life to create a single, seamless customer journey.

He has worked at leading communications and marketing agencies in his hometown of Toronto, with clients spanning technology, finance and FMCG sectors.  As well as expertise in a suite of essential digital platforms, Monajem holds a Master of Science in organisational change management, and bachelor’s degrees in political science and Spanish.

Bell joins as Social Content Producer after making a name for himself as a prolific fashion and beauty photographer in Auckland.  He has shot for local and international media outlets including Miss FQ, Verve, Remix, Black, Nylon and Glamour, as well as commercial work with brands such as TVNZ and The Shelter.

Meanwhile Killick has been promoted to the newly created role of Content & Partnerships Manager.  He will oversee larger-scale content productions and strategic partnerships to compliment the in-house abilities offered by the agency.

All three report to Kelly Grindle who was recently returned to Pead after a ten-year stint in London, where he has assumed the newly created role of Director of Integrated Strategy.

Devin Monajem commented: “As a digital technology enthusiast, I’m always keen to share the latest innovations and knowledge with clients.  Digital is an amazing tool to reach consumers where they are.  By taking an audience-first approach, we use it to build and deploy the right creative to the right channel.”
