Aligning Nespresso with Emirates Team New Zealand

Innovative coffee company Nespresso has a long-standing history of association with sailing and Emirates Team New Zealand. 

To drive awareness for Nespresso’s 2017 sponsorship, Pead PR executed a six-month campaign which aimed to engage with Nespresso Club Members and other sports and sailing enthusiasts across New Zealand.

This activity featured a mix of traditional press office activity, content creation, event management, asset creation for Nespresso Boutiques and influencer engagement.   

Pead PR also arranged for television and radio personality Sam Wallace to travel to Bermuda to produce content for Nespresso social media channels, report on all of the action for SevenSharp and live broadcast on his radio breakfast show The Hits.

Prior to departing New Zealand, Pead worked with Emirates Team New Zealand and Nespresso to create Nespresso owned content for social media that celebrated innovation and technology, showing Emirate’s grinders powering Nespresso’s Aeroccino milk frother. The video was released via Nespresso’s social and achieved a broad reach figure of 260K on Facebook.

Nespresso’s sponsorship of Emirates Team New Zealand was one of our biggest business priorities in 2017.

Pead PR developed a great understanding of the America’s Cup and presented creative concepts and solutions which not only aligned with our premium brand values, but showed careful consideration and respect for Emirates Team New Zealand’s very big task at hand.
