Launching NZ’s first pop-up bone broth bar

MKR stars Neena Truscott and Belinda MacDonald engaged Pead PR to bring the foodie concept of bone broth to the nation with the launch of New Zealand’s first pop up broth bar in Cambridge.

A concept that had been on the boil since the besties won the coveted My Kitchen Rules title in 2014, Broth Bar is a wellness hub and takeaway pop up broth bar that offers flavoursome, nutrient-rich broths slow cooked for more than 24 hours.

Tasked to drive awareness and subsequent footfall during the first two weeks of opening, Pead PR’s strategy was to target regional publications and high impact national news media. By week one Pead PR succeeded on their PR objectives, delivering $146,813.33 worth of coverage – a project ROI of $78:1 – that subsequently led to a near-sell out of broth cooks.
