Deborah began her PR career in South Africa and started her own consultancy in 1987.  When she immigrated to New Zealand in 1996, she brought her extensive retail and brand PR experience with her. She left in 2001 to establish Pead PR and focus on consumer-focused brand building. Starting with a staff of one and her home dining table as her desk, the business quickly went from strength to strength.
